Have too say Long Live Rock n Roll is a close second to Rising. The song Gates of Babylon shows them at them Bombastic best.

Two classic slabs off Clasic Rock!!

Great record and one of the Dio trinity: Rising, Heaven and Hell, Holy Diver.

What is the name of the Blackmore documentary?

I know Bungo. At least I got to see them all individualy in there respective bands. Would have been nice to see them together.

Going to see the latest incarnation of Rainbow in Birmingham next month, I guess they will churn out Stargazer. Not quite the same without Ronnie's pipes.

Just to put a dampner on things, I can't believe that three of them are now dead..

Actually Dolittle, Doogie White, the last singer before they broke up used to drink down our local. Really nice bloke, talked fondly if his days in Rainbow but reckons Blackmore is mad as a box of frogs.

Cheers chaps. One of my favourite albums off all time. Absolute belter if an album. Great cover.

Never got to see that line up play, but a few years back saw Dio and he opened up the show with Tarrot Women.

Stargazer is a beast and Light in the Black, the drumming in that!!

Did you see the Blackmore documentary? Brilliant stuff, all goes a bit odd once he shacks up with the American bird
